The Country Club of Rochester is a full-service family focused private club in Rochester, NY; nationally recognized as a Distinguished Club and Platinum Club of America. Founded in 1895, CCR is member-owned and one of the oldest clubs in America with deep roots in the community.
CCR has three restaurants, a formal dining room in the clubhouse (The Hagen), a grill restaurant (Thistle) that services casual dining, and the Seasonal Poolside Grill (summer season). In addition, there are multiple outdoor dining terraces, private dining rooms seating 90, 40, 20 and 12, a main dining room seating 180 and a golf course snack bar. Sports facilities include an 18-hole main course along with a 3-hole (Brookside) practice course, 7 outdoor tennis courts, three paddle tennis courts, a swimming complex with diving and lap pools and a zero-depth recreation area, and a professionally staffed fitness center. Club facilities also include overnight accommodations.
Position Summary:
The Clubhouse Manager (CHM) at The Country Club of Rochester is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Clubhouse, with direct accountability for Food & Beverage, Banquets and Events, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Pool, Athletics, and Locker Room services. Reporting to the General Manager, the CHM plays a central role in ensuring consistently excellent, service-driven experiences for members and guests.
The ideal candidate is a strong and passionate hospitality leader with well-rounded experience in clubhouse operations with an emphasis on Food and Beverage service. A minimum of three-five years’ experience in a resort or private country club environment is preferred. Candidates actively pursuing their Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation are highly encouraged to apply.
