- The objective is to create standardized technical operations across the enterprise in a way that is consistent and can be maintained within ISO 9001 standards.
- Observe and/or interview professionals to capture workflows. Include tasks, methods of achieving the work, interface points with others logically and technically, when communication is needed and how, etc.
- This will be done by observation and interviews. Once initial documentation is done, iteration will occur as the program grows and evolves. Data from this effort can be used to create schedules, resource plans, job descriptions and training is the next step once processes are documented. Metrics will be defined, collected, and measured across all processes.
- The schedule will fluctuate to mirror the schedule of the functional area you are working with to document workflows. You will work with your manager to coordinate this schedule.
- The location of your work may change from room to room in the building or to other buildings within the Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. This will be coordinated between you and your manager.
- This role must be on site and working directly with team members to achieve desired outcomes.
- Your efforts will support maintaining the consistency of systems performance, functionality, and authorized operational changes throughout the systems lifecycle
- This role will be involved in all metrics and communication on metrics. Change control, requirements, change control boards, requirements boards and engineering boards will occur to manage change in process. This role will administratively manage all boards.
- This role will be asked to collect and trend metrics within the processes that are created.
- The processes created in this role will be leveraged to create a number of different program and work artifacts. This person in this role will be asked to contribute your work to these areas.
- Workflows, processes, and procedures created in this role must be reviewed and validated at least annually or as significant hardware, software, personnel, or design changes.
- Metrics must be reevaluated monthly, quarterly, and annually. Trends must be tracked and communicated to your manager. Changes must be coordinated and communicated.
- The outcomes of this position are improved communication and efficiency and continued ISO 9001 certification ISO 9001 Internal Audit training may be required.
- The order in which these occur may change due to business needs and resource availabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.
- 8+ years in operations, compliance, or enterprise systems management in a federal contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of how to work with and navigate success within ISO 9001, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, DFARS, and FAR/DFAR compliance.
- Experience with federal contract lifecycle and government-facing audits. Familiarity with Human Capital systems used in GovCon (e.g., Unanet, Paylocity, ATSs, etc.).
