Position Summary
The Lead RBT supports Family Behavior Solutions (FBS) by providing training, mentorship, and quality assurance across clinic and home programs. This role is a hybrid of direct client support and staff development, designed to ensure consistency, fidelity, and excellence in ABA service delivery across multiple locations. The Lead RBT will also serve as a certified QBS and CPR instructor, ensuring all staff meet and maintain required safety and crisis management standards. In addition, the Lead RBT serves as an active member of the leadership team, representing the paraprofessional perspective and advocating for RBT support and development.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
• Lead and facilitate New Staff Orientation days, ensuring alignment with FBS values and clinical standards.
• Conduct ongoing RBT training sessions (skill refreshers, competency checks, in-services).
• Develop and maintain training schedules for all positions in collaboration with BCBAs and clinic leadership.
• Provide mentorship and on-the-job coaching to RBTs, modeling best practices.
• Serve as an in-house QBS Safety-Care trainer and CPR instructor, certifying staff and maintaining compliance.
Clinical Support & Quality Assurance
• Float between FBS clinics and home programs to provide coverage, support, and consistency.
• Conduct observations of RBTs in session and provide real-time feedback.
• Assist BCBAs with skills assessments, preference assessments, and treatment plan implementation.
• Ensure fidelity to behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and data collection procedures.
• Assist with clinical floor support and duties, for purpose of training and in times of need
Leadership & Collaboration
• Actively participate in the leadership team, representing paraprofessionals and supporting communication between staff and leadership.
• Partner with Clinical Directors and BCBAs to identify training needs and staff performance trends.
• Provide constructive feedback and support professional growth of staff.
• Help troubleshoot clinical or scheduling challenges across locations.

Schedule & Compensation
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Schedule may vary depending on clinic training, certifications, and observation needs.
• 2 days in each clinic with one work from home day.

Requirements
Qualifications
• Active RBT certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Minimum of 2 years of ABA experience; prior training/mentorship experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Flexibility to travel between FBS locations.
• Willingness to complete QBS Safety-Care Instructor Certification and CPR Instructor Training within 90 days (company sponsored).
