JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION

JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

The HR Specialist I serves as the primary contact for Human Resources (HR) related matters. This candidate will use established policies, procedures and subject matter knowledge to support, or individually perform, a variety of specialized administrative services within the HR Department. This is a temporary role.

The candidate will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:

  • Communicate and distribute HR-related information and documentation such as employee benefits, HR and Company policies and procedures
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate employee new hire orientations and assist with out-processing
  • Enter approved personnel actions into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Set up and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • File employee data via electronic e-file system
  • Assist with the development of performance briefings and periodic reports
  • Document processes, and maintain records in support of HR-related issues
  • Provide support to special HR projects
  • Prepare standard or routine reports to respond to customer queries
  • Review documentation for completeness and required approvals
  • Perform related work as assigned or required

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

The candidate must have an Associate's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is required and at least one year of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.

In addition, the candidate must have good customer service and multi-tasking skills. They must have good oral and written communication skills. They must be able to perform detailed-oriented work, have a working knowledge of word-processing and software applications and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate must possess a valid, state issued driver's license, must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance, and must be a U.S. citizen.

SALARY

The expected salary range for this position is $73,632 to $76,000 annually.

Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to (30) pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The candidate must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift work to meet required schedule demands. This position may require occasional travel.
