Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports individuals, families, and providers by serving as the first point of contact for services. This role requires excellent communication skills, compassion, and professionalism in assisting clients with scheduling, service inquiries, and general information. The CSR ensures that interactions are welcoming, respectful, and supportive, reflecting the organization’s commitment to accessible and person-centered behavioral health care. 


Position: Full-time

Shift and Schedule:  Monday-Thursday 12:15pm-8:45pm/Friday 12pm-8:30pm 

Compensation: Staring at $16.80/hr

Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Typing >25 words per minute.
  • Prior customer service experience required; experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services strongly preferred.


 Employment Requirements:   

  •  This role requires the Customer Service Representative to be available on-site; Must be located in the Eugene, OR area or be willing to commute. 
  • Background check approval from the Department of Human Services (Initiated post-offer).
  • Ability to pass Pre-employment Drug screening, including cannabis/THC (Initiated post-offer).
  • Effective 03/28/2025- Willamette Family has a required 12 month waiting period before former clients can apply for employment. This policy is in place to ensure professional boundaries and avoid potential conflicts of interest. Your response will not impact your eligibility beyond this requirement, and all information will remain confidential.


Essential Duties:

  • Greet and assist clients, family members, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Field all incoming phone calls in a manner that conveys excellent customer service in an expeditious manner; taking messages when appropriate. Provides accurate information to callers as needed. Inclusive of directions to all of our sites.
  • Use triage model to assure calls are routed appropriately.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments, ensuring accurate and timely entry into scheduling systems.
  • Knowledge of all programs to be able to discern the appropriate course of action with each call.
  • Document and input client information according to organization policies and procedures (includes but is not limited to electronic file maintenance, client notes, logs, and rosters).
