SUMMARY
The Lifestyle Assistant will oversee the daily operations of activities and programming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Activity Planning:
- Collaborate with the Director of Lifestyle to plan and organize a diverse range of recreational, social, and cultural activities for residents.
Facilitation of Activities:
- Lead group activities, such as games, exercises, arts and crafts, and music, ensuring the participation of residents.
- Provide assistance to residents during activities, adapting plans to accommodate varying levels of mobility and cognitive function.
Individualized Engagement:
- Observe and assess residents' responses to activities, adjusting plans accordingly to ensure maximum participation and enjoyment.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other staff members, including nursing, dining, and housekeeping, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to resident care.
