The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for maintaining, generating and analyzing reports to speed up an organization's decision-making process, improve efficiency and workflow including:

The collection of information, analysis of data and generation of reports.

Designing and maintaining reports.

Providing input in the development or modification of currently established processes and procedures to drive efficiency.
This role acts as a senior resource on the team, utilizing their deep industry and internal systems/operational knowledge to complex work and supports project, technical and operations teams by sharing skills and knowledge. This role leads the work to implement solutions to complex problems, which may be independently or through leading or supporting the collaboration with other stakeholders while ensuring that stakeholder input is obtained and represented, and that the solution aligns with operational and departmental goals and objectives.

Ensure accuracy of financial and operational information entered the system

Designing and maintaining reports

Ensure data integrity is maintained, report any issues to the data 'owner'

Leads and facilitates meetings, walkthroughs, workshops, and reviews of deliverables to ensure agreement and understanding by all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

May perform audits or assist with other required risk & audit requirements.

Identifies, quantifies and document risks, issues and problems.

Adopts to organizational change, best practices and improvements across teams, including the effective implementation and adherence to analysis processes and practices.

Works in tandem with related teams to ensure business solutions developed for current initiatives align with future vision.

Shares knowledge train members team to identify and share opportunities to improve workflows, identify better ways of doing things and carry those ideas to the rest of the team.
What you will bring
-
Strong business knowledge of creditor insurance including reinsurance (or general insurance knowledge), to understand and analyze the data to solve for business problems where the return can include significant value (savings, lower risk).

Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead others through the decision-making process, while considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.

Works with data to identify patterns, collaborates with others, and uses judgement to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom.

Understands and considers the larger organization in decision making process when informational may not be readily available.

The base salary for this position is between $58,600 - $97,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
