Introducing Reward at Trainline👋
As Senior Reward Manager at Trainline, you will be the go-to specialist on all Reward matters. You will manage and deliver our core compensation and equity programmes across all markets (UK & EU). You will act as the subject matter expert for reward, ensuring fair, competitive, and well-governed processes that engage our people and support the business.
You will partner closely with People Leadership, Finance, Company Secretary, senior leaders and our Remuneration committee to provide specialist expertise on equity schemes, executive compensation, and company-wide reward processes.

Equity Schemes
Administer and manage all company equity programmes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely communication.
Partner with the wider People team, Finance, Company Secretary and external providers to support grant, vesting, and reporting processes.
Executive & Company Compensation
Support the preparation of Remuneration Committee materials, ensuring analysis, benchmarking, and recommendations are well presented.
Deliver compensation modelling and reporting to support decision-making.
Reward Processes
Manage the annual compensation review cycle, including salary review, bonus, and equity grants, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
Partner with People Partners to advise on promotions, pay changes, and ad-hoc reward queries.
Support the digitisation of Reward processes, leveraging HRIS and compensation tools to streamline pay, bonus, and equity cycles.
Market Insights & Analysis
Conduct benchmarking and pay analysis to ensure competitiveness across markets.
Provide reporting on gender pay, equal pay, and compensation trends.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure governance standards are upheld across all compensation and equity processes.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and support audit requirements.
Business Partnering
Act as the reward subject matter expert for the People team, providing practical and clear guidance to leaders.
Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment on budget and cost management.

Proven experience in developing and managing forward-thinking reward programmes that deliver value and engage employees, particularly equity schemes and annual pay cycles.
Experience in executive compensation processes and preparation of Remuneration Committee papers.
Strong analytical and Excel/HR systems skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
Experience working across multiple geographies is key - UK & EU (France, Italy, Spain).
Excellent communication skills, able to simplify and explain complex reward topics.
Strong partnering skills with the ability to influence and support senior stakeholders.
