About the role
The Business Operations Lead / Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and Head of Business Operations by assisting in driving aspects of the Tennis Victoria Strategy to 2027; with a particular focus on the enabler Organisational Governance. The role will be responsible for key governance functions, administrative tasks and facilitating key business operations activities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Administration and executive assistance to the CEO, Head of Business Operations and the TV executive leadership team.
The preparation of weekly Exec Team meeting agenda, note taking, recording, maintaining and tracking action items.
Providing business support for all finance and Workday functions - assist in processing invoices, support team members in raising requisitions, reimbursements, expenses, setting up suppliers and timely credit card reconciliations.
Assisting with governance tasks including Board and committee meeting minute-taking in accordance with constitutional and by-law requirements.
Planning and executing TV’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any Special General Meetings, in collaboration with the Profile & Partnerships team.
Assisting in the development and implementation of a mature risk culture within TV.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong administrative skills and understanding of organisational governance, associated practises and meeting
procedures.
Previous experience working with an Executive team and board (desirable).
Law/Governance, Business Management, Human Resources or other relevant field (desirable).
Experience in financial administration, including, invoicing, reconciliations, general ledger expense coding and managing debtors (desirable).
Experience in effective stakeholder management and communications.
A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Victoria.
