VicRoads is progressing too. In August 2022, we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf.
We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.

About the opportunity

As a trusted advisor, you’ll support teams across VicRoads, ensuring communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with strategic priorities—especially during times of change.
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, you'll help drive meaningful employee engagement through creative campaigns and multi-channel communication. This role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives on collaboration, values purposeful messaging, and wants to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation where internal communication is seen as a vital business enabler.
About you
You’re a skilled internal communications professional with a passion for creating content that connects and inspires. With at least five years of experience, you bring strong writing, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage digital channels, events, and campaigns. You’re confident using tools like SharePoint, Canva, and Campaign Monitor, and can measure impact through data and insights.
A strong collaborator, you build trusted relationships and deliver communications that drive engagement and support organisational goals.
A minimum of five years’ experience in internal communications within complex organisations
Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills tailored for diverse digital channels
Proven expertise in managing intranet platforms such as SharePoint and email marketing tools like Campaign Monitor
Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating hybrid, virtual, and in-person events
Strong analytical capability to evaluate communication effectiveness and inform strategic decisions
Proficiency with design software including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools
Outstanding stakeholder management, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities across all organisational levels
