Your Team

Within Retail Banking Services (RBS) the Customer Identity & Digital Trust Crew builds scalable services for consumption across the Enterprise including CBA’s market leading CommBank app, and its desktop asset Netbank, as well as into other business lines such as Business Banking, frontline applications and partners.

Your impact and contribution

As the Executive Manager Product Owner and Value Stream Lead for Identification & Verification, you will be an experienced professional who is driven by a desire to execute on the vision to deliver exceptional customer identity experiences to our customers, bankers and partners.

You will lead a value stream to build and guide high performing squads to deliver outcomes that fundamentally shift the customer identity experience and unlock more value.  You will be defining and deploying a range of identity services that enable customers to prove their identity at the time of onboarding and for identification re-verification purposes such as KYC or step up to delivery continuous identification across the lifecycle.  You will also be accountable for overseeing the implementation of an identity assurance framework that will enable customers to join the Bank.  Your passion for and ability to solve complex problems is key to delivering these high-quality solutions to market.  You will draw from your strong digital delivery experience to constantly push the boundaries of innovation to deliver market leading capability and make CBA the safest place for customers to manage their money.

You will partner with Group Security and Retail Technology to contribute to the vision, strategy and roadmap for customer identity.  You will have strong experience working with identity solutions, protocols/standards and products, as well as keep abreast with new and emerging technology such as biometric matching, global verification services and verifiable digital credentials. 

You have a high tolerance for complexity and ambiguity coupled with the resilience and tenacity to see things through.  You have experience working in a fast paced, agile environment and use leading practices with an appreciation for the value of continuous delivery.

  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing and facilitation skills with a range of senior stakeholders

  • Proven track record in building high performing teams across business and technology

  • Experience in customer identity and digital security, with knowledge of various identification methods including biometrics

  • You will also have an understanding of passive data signals that can be used to create additional strength and protection.

  • End to end accountability for setting the strategic direction and roadmap, as well as delivering complex initiatives

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Proven success in implementing innovative technology and digital security solutions to strengthen controls in preventing fraud and scams

  • Expert written communication and presentation skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills – collaboration, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution.
