Job Description:

About the role 
As a Senior Account Manager, you will provide tailored employment solutions and consulting services to Queensland's Government, Healthcare & Education clients. This role manages relationships at both departmental and functional levels across the state's largest workforce portfolio.

You will drive revenue growth and product adoption across Queensland's government sector through strategic partnerships with key agencies and convert new business opportunities by engaging stakeholders from Senior Directors to administrative teams while delivering presentations, training and quarterly reporting as value-added services. Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Government, you will collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and contribute strategic insights. Success means maximizing SEEK's brand exposure and delivering exceptional results across Australia's largest public sector workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and product adoption across government departments and education clients
  • Maintain strategic relationships with campaign and non-campaign teams to maximize product utilization
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with central agencies to advocate for SEEK services
  • Convert new business through market analysis, insights and strategic stakeholder engagement
  • Engage key stakeholders from senior directors to administrative personnel effectively
  • Conduct face-to-face and remote presentations including quarterly reporting and training
  • Achieve sales revenue, customer engagement and process expectations consistently

 

Qualifications:

Skills and experience 

  • Proven track record in new business acquisition using solution-based sales methodology
  • Exceptional account management skills with demonstrated revenue growth across customer portfolios
  • Detailed understanding of online recruitment in Australian and international markets
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional customer service, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Sales experience in recruitment, media agency or government environments preferred
