In a world where viewing habits, platforms and algorithms evolve daily, it’s not enough to be present on just one platform or serve the same content across your channel ecosystem. When it comes to capturing hearts and eyeballs, constant evolution and optimisation is key. Crowd-pleasers and proud of it, we specialise in channel management and consultancy for clients including the PGA TOUR, DP World Tour, Ryder Cup, US Open, Australian Open, Laver Cup and WEC.
With extensive experience growing loyal fanbases on social and sky-rocketing YouTube views into the billions, we also own, manage and produce content for some of the biggest entertainment channels on Snap, Meta and TikTok with huge, loyal and constantly growing communities of followers.
Role & responsibilities:
Brave Bison are looking for a YouTube Video Editor to join the team to work across high-profilec lient accounts in a variety of sports including tennis, golf, motorsport and cricket. The day-to-day role will include creating short-form edits for our client’s social platforms, including YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
All applicants should be able to show demonstrable experience in video editing, and graphic design abilities. A flexible approach to working hours is required, as you will be in daily communication with our clients in various territories around the world.
- Create engaging video content to be uploaded on YouTube and other social platforms.
- Help to grow and maintain social pages.
- Designing thumbnails, creating clips, editing compilations, optimising videos and uploading to a schedule agreed with the client.
- Utilising an archive library to create content.
- Assisting the Audience Development team with the running of the channels.
- Day-to-day client liaison.
- Asset management and archiving of live content.
- Copywriting and proofreading, understanding the importance of editorial voice and brand tone.
Qualification & skills requirements
- Excellent knowledge of, and at least 2-3 years’ experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe after Effects (Thumbnail creation, Lower thirds and transitions are a part of every edit).
- Strong knowledge of different videos formats, video compression, sound/video synchronisation, downloading from an archive system (NTSC/PAL, Interlaced vs. Progressive, converting Avid container files etc).
- Strong knowledge of / passion for the aforementioned sports.
- Some work will be outside typical working hours, making highlights for tournaments, reacting to breaking news and working with clients from a different time zone.
- Great communication skills, the role requires constant communication with the client.
- Impeccable spelling and grammar.
- Great attention to detail and proofreading skills.
