IT/OT Architect

Your Role

As an IT/OT Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integrated IT/OT architectures that enhance manufacturing efficiency and reliability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and alignment with business goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement IT/OT architectures tailored to manufacturing environments.
  • Evaluate and select technologies for system development and integration.
  • Integrate IT systems with OT platforms such as SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and developers.
  • Document architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies.
  • Ensure quality standards and best practices in system integration.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures across IT and OT systems.
  • Lead IT/OT projects from conception to delivery.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/OT architecture, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, MES, ERP systems, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT/OT projects.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and industry trends.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Architect, or relevant IT/OT credentials.
  • Familiarity with the metal manufacturing industry is a plus.
