- Provide assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and coordination of care.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including consents, assessments, ISPs, and therapy notes.
- Deliver counseling services based on medical necessity and appropriateness.
- Involve family members or other supports in the treatment process.
- Assess risks and determine needs related to acuity, safety, and participation in treatment.
- Support clients in accessing community resources and services.
- Provide culturally sensitive and integrated counseling services.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Stay current on developments in the behavioral health field.
- Meet documentation and productivity standards.
- Ensure confidentiality, ethical compliance, and coordination across care teams.
- Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
- At least 1 year of full-time experience (including internship) in behavioral health.
- Active Arizona licensure with AZBBHE (LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LAAC, or LIAC).
- Ability to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card within 8 weeks of hire.
- Strong knowledge of DSM criteria, community resources, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, and clinical methods.
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use concerns, or co-occurring disorders.
- Must meet credentialing and agency personnel requirements.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating evidence-based treatment plans.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic methods and interventions.
- Excellent communication (oral, written, electronic) and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in an EMR system and maintain accurate records.
- Strong organizational skills with dependable time management and initiative.
