Madison County Memorial Hospital (MCMH) is a critical access hospital. Job Description:The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing and meeting patient’s goals and needs by providing quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription. The OT will maintain or prevent decline of patient functions by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards. The OT must also be able to set realistic and achievable goals for their patients as well as document and record the patient’s condition using correct documentation.
Qualifications:- Active Florida License as an Occupational Therapist
- At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical setting
- Current CPR Certification
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and community
- Excellent and high level written and verbal communication skills that reflects positively on the hospital
- Accurate and meticulous to detail
- Ability to organize and work independently
- Demonstrate understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
