Position Summary
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, respond to clinical changes, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to deliver exceptional outcomes for medically and behaviorally complex patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care in alignment with Texas state practice guidelines and hospital policies.
Maintain detailed knowledge of patients’ medical histories, progress, and treatment goals.
Assess patients, make prompt clinical decisions, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Recognize and respond quickly to changes in condition, including emergencies such as cardiopulmonary arrest.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Serve as a resource for patient care problem-solving, conflict resolution, and clinical support.
Prepare patients for activities and accompany them when required.
Coordinate care with ancillary departments to ensure optimal outcomes.
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (or compact license).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Patient de-escalation training (SAMA) required within 30 days of hire.
Experience
Minimum one (1) year in an acute, post-acute, or pediatric setting preferred
