Beyer Blinder Belle, with offices in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, and Miami, is seeking an enthusiastic Architectural Designer to join its New York office. I. Role
We are looking for a motivated individual who can work in a team environment on a significant cultural project in New York City, from design through construction.
II. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- 6+ years of experience (licensed or on a path to licensure)
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Fluent in Revit and design technology software.
- Independently evaluate, select, and apply architectural solutions for specified assignments with support and direction from a Senior Architect or above.
- Familiarity with MEP systems coordination is a strong plus, especially in existing building projects.
- Responsible for managing time to meet deadlines and communicating effectively with managers (especially if assigned to multiple managers or projects).
- Responsible for document production, design team coordination, and contributing to production and collaboration workflows.
- Strong graphic, oral, and written communication skills.
- Able to manage deliverable production and schedules independently for smaller projects and with senior assistance for larger projects.
- May provide technical guidance to junior staff.
Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $72,000 - $85,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below it based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, professional achievement, and business needs.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in an annual performance review process with the possibility of receiving a performance-based bonus and base salary increase each year.
