We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 2 Ultrasonic Supervisor to lead and oversee ultrasonic testing operations in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. This role is responsible for supervising a team of ultrasonic operators, ensuring quality control, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Supervise and coordinate daily ultrasonic testing activities and personnel.
- Perform and interpret ultrasonic inspections in accordance with ASNT Level II standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- Review and approve inspection reports and documentation.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate ultrasonic operators to maintain high performance and technical proficiency.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, engineering, and production teams to resolve inspection-related issues.
- Maintain calibration and certification records for ultrasonic equipment.
- Support audits and customer inspections as needed.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- ASNT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) required.
- 3 + years of experience in ultrasonic testing.
- 1+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong understanding of NDT methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with applicable standards (e.g., ASTM & ASME).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
