Pella Carolina, Inc is looking for a Senior Accountant for our Greensboro, NC location. This role is ideal for a highly skilled accounting professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to take ownership of financial operations from day one. You will play a key role in managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the management of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely entries for multiple entities.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries to ensure accurate reporting as part of the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Preparer of the bank reconciliation and treasury reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing or construction industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; Great Plains experience a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
