We’re seeking a motivated Production Control Intern to join our team for Summer 2026!
The Role:
As a Production Control Intern at Toyota Material Handling North America, you will gain hands-on experience supporting packaging operations and supplier compliance within our global supply chain. You will assist in analyzing and enhancing packaging processes, with the goal of improving overall supply chain efficiency. Key focus areas include project management, data visualization, root cause analysis, and the development of long-term packaging improvement strategies. You’ll collaborate with the Production Control team, as well as with mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working to improve packaging from local supply base
- Developing sustainable solutions for packaging throughout the factory and supply base
- Visualize data related to packaging and provide suggestions on how to reduce spending
- Project management for scheduling activities working with internal counterparts
- Successfully utilizes root causes analysis to solve problems
- Define next steps and follow-up on project activities
- Communicate and build consensus in a manner that is positive, clear, and effective across multiple companies /cultures in order to maintain progress of the overall project schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management, Packaging Science, or related field
- Strong data driven analytic skills utilizing Excel and PowerBI

What You’ll Get in Return:
Wage - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
