We work with people of all ages at home, at work, and in the community through residential programs, employment services, crisis response, day services and more.


Benchmark is looking for an on-site Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Assistant for our Dublin, OH office. This part-time position will assist in all aspects of the hiring process, complete general office duties and work with management to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. 


Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8a-12p (20 hours/week)

Requirements:

 

1. Human Resources

  • Conducts background checks including but not limited to criminal, registries and references
  • Conduct assigned safety drills and inspections
  • Ensures physical and drug testing are completed before or on the first day of training
  • Maintains employee files
  • Data entry of employee documents and training that includes but not limited to driver license, auto insurance, client specific training, discipline, etc.
  • Conduct interviews when needed
  • Teaches orientation; creates training schedule and organizes trainers; inputs all training in tracking system(s)
  • Assist with responding to unemployment claims and attend hearings as necessary.

2. General Office Duties

  • Completes purchase orders
  • Manages property maintenance by scheduling repairs
  • Orders office supplies
  • Assist management with special projects
  • Answer phone calls

3. Additional Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Some college and/or human resources experience preferred
