Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive customer service skills along with computer experience.
- Previous banking or real estate mortgage experience a plus.
- Must have ability to become NMLS registered.
Function: Interact with customers requiring assistance in the lending area: discuss loan products, hand out appropriate applications and disclosures, and coordinate appointment schedule for lender(s). Assist lender(s) with loan documentation, file assembly, loan closings, and other lending related functions.
Duties:
- Assists borrowers by discussing loan products, handing out appropriate applications and disclosures, helping them to complete loan applications and other loan related documents.
- Inputs or imports loan data into mortgage systems up to issuance of necessary initial disclosures.
- Inputs/processes consumer loan applications in online system.
- Assembles and reviews loan files and other necessary loan documentation for pre-underwriting, pre-closing, and post-closing accuracy.
- Processes disbursements and funding post-closing.
- Scanning and indexing of all loan documents.
- Processes loan payments and lines of credit advances
- Prepares construction monitoring worksheet; monitors and processes advances for construction loan, provides lender updates on construction progress and available funds; Coordinates construction loan inspections; tracks and maintains information for 1099 reporting.
- Assists lenders in obtaining credit reports and research other information necessary for loan request.
- May schedule loan closings, coordinating with loan services, and may close loans in absence of lender.
- Schedules appointments and prepares correspondence for lenders including renewal letters and modification worksheets.
- Maintain understanding of current lending compliance regulations, Secondary Market guidelines, and bank’s credit policy and underwriting requirements
- Cross Sell bank product and refer customers to FNWM and FNIS
- Performs other duties as requested.
