QualDerm Partners is excited to announce an opening for a Medical Assistant to join our growing team dedicated to providing exceptional dermatology and aesthetics care. As a Medical Assistant at QualDerm Partners, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for patient care. You will play an essential role in ensuring that our patients experience a seamless journey through their healthcare visits, focused on providing the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring a comfortable environment.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures, providing support to ensure efficient and effective care.
  • Perform basic lab tests and manage the preparation of specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Schedule patient appointments and provide outstanding customer service during office communications.
  • Educate patients about treatment plans, prescribed medications, and proper skincare routines.
  • Ensure examination rooms are well-prepared, clean, and stocked with necessary medical supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dermatology and aesthetics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and manage sensitive information responsibly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is a plus.

Compensation Range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
