POSITION TITLE: Bridge Builders Program Specialist
REPORTS TO: Bridge Builders Training Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: None
FLSA: Part-Time, Regular (Approximately 20-25 hours per week)
COMPENSATION: $18 per hour.
This position is for the months September 2025 - May 2026
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bridge Builders Specialist actively facilitates Bridge Builders events and workshops and actively recruits students for programs and events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Programming
Serve as Lead Staff Facilitator for Bridge Builders COLLABORATE training, electives, community actions, and other activities as needed.
Collaborate with Training Manager for event preparation and delivery
Provide any feedback to the Curriculum Coordinator for possible updates
Assist with the interviewing summer facilitators including assistant conference coordinators
Communication
Work with the Outreach and Recruitment team for outreach and promotion of Bridge Builders events and students
Provide seamless ongoing communication with Bridge Builders students, parents, and community partners.
Provide stewardship of participants/partners, including acknowledgments, regular correspondence, newsletters, website information, and follow-up reports as appropriate for the program
Data & Evaluation Support
Use Salesforce to maintain accurate participant recruitment and retention data; submit required status reports in a timely manner.
Input all data in the data management system in a timely manner
Log attendance records for Bridges Builders in the Salesforce system.
Keep Bridge Builders records updated, accurate and report any issues with evaluation and data to the Director of Evaluation
Maintain accurate records of transactions in accordance with BRIDGES policies.
When working on multiple assignments, prioritize with guidance from the supervisor.
General Responsibilities
This position will represent BRIDGES at events, conferences, meetings, public forums, etc., often requiring speaking in front of large groups.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by any program staff
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or one or more years of directly related experience; in lieu of degree, six years of directly related experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience facilitating workshops and learning sessions for youth and adults
Well-organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience using MS Office, Google Suite, and project management software
Represent and speak to groups on behalf of BRIDGES at events, conferences, meetings, etc.

Strength in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with BRIDGES participants, parents, staff, volunteers, service members, community partners, and other stakeholders
Ability to be flexible and resolve problems
A lifelong learner who seeks to expand their base of knowledge
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed under general supervision
Work hours are generally 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, with evening and weekend work and occasional travel.
Work is performed at the BRIDGES Center and other locations approved by the Training Manager, Director of Bridge Builders, or Chief Program Officer
Successful candidates must have dependable transportation to attend required events and programs.
Successful candidates must participate actively in and become proficient in all activities associated with the AutoZone Challenge Course and Memphis Grizzlies Climbing Wall.
