Job Title:
Painter
Key Responsibilities:
- Covers nameplates and hanging tags with masking tape to protect surfaces during painting. Attach flange covers.
- Mix and thin paint as required.
- Perform painting & surface preparation duties per specifications.
- Selects paint according to company color scheme and specifications.
- Disassembles and cleans paint equipment, using solvent, wire brushes, and dry cloth.
- Attach valves to skids and pallets for shipping.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with previous painting in industrial environments preferred.
- Use of respiratory protection equipment is common and required in most applications.
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Plan work and select proper tools.
