Job Summary: The Warehouse Shipping Clerk will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and Customer Service.

Position Responsibilities:
- Appointments for Customers /Appointments for Suppliers.
- Checking truck drivers in/out for dock appointments.
- Provide Invoices to customers by fax or email. Back up if necessary, by mail. Turn around by end of business day/24hours
- AP Receivers: Collect all Packing Slips and driver documentation and provide them to AP by the end of the business day/24 hours.
- Oversees Documentation and Shipping forms.
- Schedule appointments and print the daily Expected Delivery Report (EDR)
- Review the drivers' Bill of Lading (BOL) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Cover for Customer Service from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Communicate verbally and email information for the driver schedule.
- Ongoing communication with customers regarding service issues
- Complete all required paperwork pertaining to the shift and department
- Assist with miscellaneous projects.
- May perform other duties as needed
Requirements
Position Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Minimum 1 year of Food Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of experience in warehousing in the food manufacturing industry
- Flexible/Weekly changing schedule/weekends
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Language Skills:
Written: ability to read, interpret, and comprehend simple instructions and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policies/procedures manuals; ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written instructions.
Oral: Ability to clearly convey messages, ideas, and expectations through the effective use of words, body language, and voice tone in-person and in telephone conversations with staff members, supervisors, and other employees of the company.
Listening: Ability to take in and understand spoken messages by being attentive and by using skills to understand the meaning behind a person’s words.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Walk on uneven ground and wet or slippery floors
- Twisting, turning, kneeling, stooping, and bending most of the day
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to spices (allergens), including but not limited to soy and wheat
- Exposure to high noise levels and a high heat environment
PPE—Slip-resistant shoes, hair and beard nets, safety glasses, and earplugs are required in food manufacturing work areas, and gloves are recommended.
Schedule: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
