Pay Rate: $16.09-$22.02/hr. depending on background and experience.

The Used & Vintage Instruments Specialist supports Guitar Center stores in the acquisition, authentication, and sale of used and vintage instruments. This role provides guidance to store associates, ensures proper approvals are in place, and assists with sales support. Work may be performed on-site, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity.

 

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Assist stores and provide appropriate approval for the acquisition of Vintage and Used instruments through telephone and email communication and, potentially, through in-hand inspections.
  • Authentication of vintage instruments either in person or remotely.
  • Assist associates with sales support and with the approval of appropriate markdowns
  • Cooperating with Operations on general housekeeping including, but not limited to: maintenance / cleanliness of carpets, restrooms, sales floor, and offices when on-site.
  • Additional duties as needed
