What You’ll Own  

  • Lead deep-dive financial analysis across revenue, claims, margins, and operational efficiency to uncover trends and opportunities. 
  • Design and maintain advanced financial models for scenario planning, staffing forecasts, and strategic initiatives. 
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, partnering with leaders to build clear, data-backed financial plans. 
  • Assess risk and performance in insurance operations, delivering insights that inform pricing, compliance, and mitigation strategies. 
  • Craft compelling presentations that turn data into strategy for senior leadership and the Board. 
  • Educate and empower business partners, translating financial concepts into actionable decisions. 
  • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement and guiding data-informed strategies. 
  • Support special projects and ad hoc analysis, adapting quickly to evolving business needs. 

What Sets You Apart  

  • 10+ years of hands-on FP&A experience, with a strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, and modeling. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; advanced credentials (MBA, CFA) are a plus. 
  • Exceptional Excel skills and comfort with SQL or similar tools for large-scale data analysis. 
  • Experience in health or dental insurance—or a passion for applying your skills in a mission-driven space. 
  • A strategic mindset with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. 
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to executives and board members. 
  • Familiarity with actuarial concepts, risk management, and financial reporting standards. 
  • Proven experience executing and delivering cross-functional budgets that align financial strategy with organizational goals.

This position is a hybrid role that requires two days in the office based upon the needs of the organization. 

Compensation: This position is exempt, and the salary range is $113,693-$150,114 annually plus is eligible for an internet allowance.
