Role Detail

Joining the Brisbane Service & Support team, and part of the wider Technology Division (approx 100 nationally), your role is to provide high quality technical support to all King & Wood Mallesons Partners and staff.

Based in the Brisbane CBD office, reporting to the Technology Service Desk Manager, you will be the first port of call for any employee enquiries and problems relating to Technology. Support is given over the phone, via email and in person. This is a highly customer service focused environment that requires exceptional communication skills.

In this varied role you will also have responsibility for the daily operations of the audio-visual service and video conferencing service, predominantly on the client floors. You will be required to provide high quality support to our internal and external clients and be comfortable with administrative and procedural responsibilities.

About You

This varied service desk position, that will include being called upon to support for AV troubleshooting and set up for client meetings, requires a calm and knowledgeable demeanour, underpinned by a customer centric approach and ability to think 2 steps ahead.  You will also bring:

•          Proven ability to clarify priorities and resolve technical issues in a Windows 11 and Office 2019 / Microsoft 365 environment

•          Experience in an audio-visual environment

•          Troubleshooting skills for supporting remote staff (VPN & Citrix Remote Desktop, etc.)

•          Experience with managing Mobile devices via an MDM solution. (iPhones etc.)

•          Active directory skills - ability to maintain, create, and delete user accounts

•          Understanding of network topology

•          Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting VOIP softphones & telephone handsets

•          Flexibility needed to work rotating roster for national coverage between the hours of 7am – 6.00pm
