People and Capability Partner
Work flexibly as a part-time site-based People and Capability Partner - 0.5/0.6 FTE- Let’s make work, work for you.
Our Port Melbourne site is not only the home of Vegemite, it is also the home of other Australian iconic products, such as Bega Peanut Butter and Zoosh salad dressing. VEGEMITE has been proudly made in Port Melbourne, Australia since 1923.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, People and Capability VIC & TAS, you will support optimal site performance. It will be your responsibility to ensure that change initiatives are well-supported to deliver high-quality products safely and with high employee engagement.
When required, you will use your expertise in case management, injury management and industrial relations. You will ideally have experience in EA negotiations within a manufacturing environment.
Supported by our Centres of Excellence within the wider People and Capability function, you will work closely with the leadership team at Koroit and Port Melbourne to ensure we deliver the best possible people experience at Bega Group.
Please note that this is a site-based role.
Responsibilities
Guide, challenge, and coach team members and leaders to unlock their full potential and drive business success
Use people analytics to uncover trends, influence decisions, and shape strategies that elevate performance and engagement
Navigate complex employee relations. Lead with empathy and expertise to resolve employee matters with fairness, integrity, and a focus on positive outcomes
Empower people leaders. Build leadership capability through tailored support and development, enabling managers to lead with confidence and impact
Champion culture & experience, strengthen our unique culture and create moments that matter, ensuring every team member feels valued, connected, and inspired
About you
Business partnering, employee relations, OD, or shared service functions
Ideally, you have partnering experience in FMCG manufacturing
Tertiary qualified in the relevant field
Injury management and EA negotiation experience (desired)
