This is full time, hybrid role. Monday- Friday with flexible hours between 8am - 5pm
Job Summary
Donor Accounts Coordinator is the "face" of MnTC, and the first point of contact for donors and internal
staff with questions on giving. Working alongside one other coordinator, this person directly records all
donations, including cash, check, online donations, and third-party gifts. They are also responsible for
maintaining donor record accuracy. The Donor Accounts Coordinator heavily assists the entire
Development department and works closely with the Marketing team.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The essential functions include the following:
▪ Open mail, prepare and copy checks for bank deposits, count cash for deposit as needed
▪ Enter gifts by batch on database (Raiser’s Edge) and record/verify corresponding deposits on
bank book
▪ Set up gift-in-kind, pledge and recurring gifts received by mail or from fundraising events
▪ Record all 3rd party gifts using gift detail from various sources online supporting the original gift;
▪ Fill out and submit forms for company matching gifts; set up match when gift is received
▪ Record all gifts captured on any offline systems used for events (BidPal) from online supporting
documentation including adding new constituents as needed
▪ Process credit card gifts including recurring gifts on the 1st and the 15th the month
▪ Process Team Raiser registrations and Luminate Online donations using Omatic connector
▪ Run acknowledgment letters (receipts) weekly; update letter content monthly
Donor Communication:
▪ Mail donors paperwork needed for processing and authorizing ACH gifts
▪ Contact donors when credit cards expire or otherwise unable to process gifts
▪ Answer all donor questions regarding gift receipts and gift processing
▪ Call donors as needed when not enough information is provided to process gifts.
▪ Send out donor acknowledgements bi-weekly.
Inter-Departmental:
▪ Work with Grant Manager to insure proper coding of grant/foundation gifts
▪ Work with satellite offices to correctly process all gifts deposited remotely
▪ Ensure accurate and efficient accounting practices in alignment with various events
▪ Work with Finance to account for all bank-related activities from donations received
▪ Key member of the training team for onboarding employees using Raiser’s Edge.
Other:
▪ Maintain supplies on hand for donor acknowledgment letters and mailings
▪ File all deposit documentation by data/batch for record keeping.
▪ Create and maintain detailed process documentation related to all gift-entry activities
▪ Attend occasional events during evenings and weekends (approx. 5/yr)
▪ Other duties assigned by supervisor or senior management
Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
▪ 4-year College degree or Associate degree / equivalent experience.
▪ Highest integrity in the handling of financial matters
▪ Ability to learn and successfully complete assigned bookkeeping and accounting tasks
▪ Computer skills including typing, 10-key, spreadsheets and general familiarity with database
programs
▪ Ability to learn various software programs to meet the needs of the organization.
▪ Ability to model a lifestyle that is in compliance with Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge’s Code
of Conduct
▪ Ability to remain on task and accurately follows through projects to their completion
▪ Maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public
▪ Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this
organization’s vehicle insurance carrier
Target Compensation (Negotiable based on qualifications):
$20 to $22 per hour
