SummitMedia LLC is looking for a skilled Telecommute Traffic Administrator. The traffic administrator acts as a liaison between different areas in our radio cluster and company remotely. A traffic administrator will use the station’s traffic system to accurately schedule commercials as purchased by advertisers, and other on-air announcements as required by station management. Individuals who excel at troubleshooting problems, managing schedules, and coordinating multiple activities at the same time are well suited for a position as a traffic administrator.

The Telecommute Traffic Administrator works to ensure effective and efficient use of the Wide Orbit Traffic system; creates Daily Log Broadcasts; reconciles daily logs to check for any discrepancies; enter copy, enter national order, manage preempts, co-op scripts, coordinates log and clock changes with the Programming department, assists station departments with timing and scheduling of on-air elements. Tasks include order entry, commercial log editing, continuity and other duties as assigned by the Traffic Director.

 Qualifications:

A High School degree is required. A working knowledge and understanding of radio with prior radio or television experience is preferred. Applicants must have at least two years of general office experience with an emphasis on using computer applications to store data, generate reports, and maintain a database. Knowledge of Wide Orbit software is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high work ethics and standards, advanced attention to detail, superb time efficiency and the ability to work well under pressure is required. Along with strong problem-solving abilities, you must be able to handle conflicts and find solutions with a positive go-getter attitude.

 As a telecommuting position, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment in your home, free of hazards and distractions. You will ensure the protection of proprietary company information including, but not limited to: customer information, data, and reports generated must be kept confidential. This candidate will be responsible for costs associated with the setup of the employee's home office, such as furniture or lighting and any modifications to the home office space - SummitMedia will supply computer, keyboard, mouse and two monitors.
