Service Delivery Manager - Projects
As an On-Wing Services Service Delivery Manager - Projects, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of On-Wing Services transform projects. It is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a customer focused, programme management background to demonstrate their skills in a challenging environment.
As a member of the On-Wing & Field Services team, you will be leading one or more key programmes or projects, which are critical to transforming the On-Wing and Field Services business. You will be responsible for the planning, delegation, monitoring, and control of all aspects of the project, and the motivation of those involved, to achieve the project’s objectives / output within the expected performance targets of time, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risks. This will be a challenging role and provide an excellent opportunity to develop your career and build a strong network across the breadth of Aftermarket Operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules. Develop and secure budgets for the project(s) and control the forecast and actual costs against the allocated budget.
- Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package(s) of work within the project. Act as the focal point and escalation route for all aspects related to the packages of work within the project.
- Identify, address, and resolve barriers to delivery. Organise and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.
- Team leadership responsibilities, including planning and prioritisation of team members’ work.
- Deliver operational commitments at the right time, cost, quality, and responsiveness to support the operation.
- Implement consistent performance governance across the operation utilising the standard tools and processes to ensure that committed goals and improvements are achieved.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
- Experience managing complex programmes of work across multiple business areas
- Programme management qualification desirable but not essential
- Part 145 and or Part 147 experience is desirable but not essential
- A combination of strong services and technical background, with proven ability to program manage the implementation of new services at pace
- Customer focused and be able to work in a changing environment
- Has a proven track record delivering improved supplier performance in both favourable and unfavourable conditions, utilising cross-functional teams.
- Able to communicate well at all levels
