Job Title: Senior Specialist - Threat, Risk & Research Analyst

The Purpose of Your Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to follow intelligence cycle to conduct thorough research and deliver actionable intelligence and analysis for effective crisis management and communication. This involves aligning daily tasks with long-term organizational goals while staying vigilant to emerging issues that may impact business operations in India, Hong Kong and Japan.

This role significantly influences the organization's ability to respond promptly to incidents, therefore the Analyst is expected to effectively communicate identified tactical and strategic risks through established channels, and actively engage in cross-functional collaboration. Key competencies include independent judgment, strong decision-making skills, and the capacity to articulate complex information clearly, both in writing and verbally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performing under time constraints while engaging with leadership, customer-facing teams, vendors, external partners, and government agencies.

The Value you Deliver

  • Monitor intelligence tools and open-source information to assess potential threats to Fidelity Operations in Asia Pacific region (India, Hong Kong, Japan).

  • Assess risks using analytical methodologies on both qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Oversee intelligence gathering and communication across different time zones.

  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate business intelligence to inform decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) to standardize workflows.

  • Produce analytic assessments on operational and strategic risks for decision-makers or key collaborators to maintain and enhance cross-functional collaboration.

  • Support the Global Intelligence team as subject matter expert of Asia- Pacific region to communicate emerging trends and provide insights for planning.

  • Build partnerships with domestic and international organizations to enhance intelligence network through industrial connects

  • Assist the Asia Security Operations Center (ASOC) in daily operations and training initiatives.

  • Lead the day-to-day functions of a team of regional analysts.

  • Experience in analyzing risk, authoring reports, and conducting briefings that provide stakeholders with insight about security concerns.

  • Knowledge of global geopolitical dynamics and crisis management.

  • Understanding of business continuity practices.

At Fidelity Investments, the Global Security & Investigations (GSI) team operates under Corporate Services Business Unit. GSI ensures a secure environment for associates, overseeing global security operations, business resiliency, and workplace threat management.

The Asia Security Operations Centre (ASOC) is an integral part of Global Security & Investigations (GSI), operating as a 24/7 command center in India for security monitoring and incident response in the Asia (India, Hong Kong and Japan) region. It is an internal C6 Centre (Command, Control, Communications, Customer Care, Collaboration, Consistency). ASOC is a multifunctional Fusion Center carrying out Site Security Surveillance, Transport & Travel Security monitoring, Threat & Risk Analysis Program and Executive Protection operations to ensure a comprehensive business resiliency.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Minimum Graduation Degree in related subject area (international relations, area studies, crisis management) and/or other advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in managing geo-political threat and risk analysis aspect of corporate security

  • Certifications in Risk and Resiliency or International Relations are advantageous

Location: Bangalore – EGL

Shift Timings: 0930h – 1800h and/or based on operational requirements.
