The Collateral Management function at Deutsche Bank is responsible for one of the largest, cutting edge, global programs in the market. With collateral assets under management commanding a significant position in the market today; coupled with the explosive growth in demand for our product the Collateral Management group continues to offer diverse and challenging roles.
Collateral Management is responsible for supporting the collateralisation of the derivatives, repurchase agreements (repo) and foreign exchange (FX) businesses. This global group has offices in the UK, USA, Germany, India and Singapore.
Within Birmingham, the collateral department has a wide variety of teams responsible for supporting Cleared OTC, Repo and Structured margining.

Your key responsibilities
Daily issuance, tracking and settlement of the client margin management process
Reconciliation of post settlement system breaks / security fails / nostro breaks
Delivering excellent client service to external counterparties and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Compilation of reporting for management / business stakeholders
Ensuring that risk issues are identified and escalated
Your skills and experience
Proficient in the use of Excel
Experience of identifying and logging risks would be beneficial
Organised, able to meet deadlines and ability to work under pressure.
Able to make decisions independently and solve problems.
A strong team player and be able to collaborate with other business areas.
Strong communicator who is able to speak to various levels within the organisation.
