Lead Developer

Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders.
We are currently looking for a Lead Developer to support our growing Business Systems function within the IT department, this is a fantastic role that will allow the successful candidate to up skill and develop through the company, you will find more details below.

Responsibilities
- Own architectural direction and dev standards across back and front-end.
- Plan, lead, and deliver in-house builds, sprints and stakeholder collaboration.
- Mentor and develop junior/mid devs—setting code quality, review and delivery practices.
- Translate business requirements into clean, scalable systems.
- Champion maintainable, secure, high-performance development.
What you need
- 5+ years with PHP/Laravel and full-stack experience.
- Previous leadership in dev teams—architecting, mentoring, sprint planning.
- Strong front-end knowledge—Vue.js or similar.
- Proficient in Git, Docker, SQL and API integration.
