About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, product development, and a deep understanding of software engineering principles. The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, managing product backlogs, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product priorities and requirements. 
  • Translate business epics and user stories into well-defined technology epics and tasks that will be needed to realise the product features. 
  • Ensure that our engineering teams have a clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria. 
  • Create and maintain product backlogs, ensuring they are groomed and prioritized effectively. 
  • Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups. Monitor sprint progress and remove obstacles to ensure timely delivery. 
  • Work with business stakeholders and the development team, providing estimates, guidance and clarification as needed. 
  • Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. 
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and roadmap. 

 

You should apply if you have:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment. Proven working experience in the Fintech industry is essential. 
  • Solid technical background with proficiency in software development concepts and practices. Significant experience in managing the delivery of mobile apps, and enterprise grade server platforms 
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile tools such as Jira or Trello. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams. 
  • Attention to detail, resourcefulness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while manage multiple priorities effectively is important 
  • Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is a plus.
