The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2, Investment Compliance to join the Investment/Management team.

Compensation:
$24.95 or Commensurate with education and experience
Work Schedule:
8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.
General Summary:
Under the direction of the executive assistant, administrative supervisor, Investments, assist with the broker relationships and Investments compliance functions and provide support to other administrative areas as needed.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Collaborate with brokers and external managers to ensure adherence to the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) Investment Protection Principles and trading requirements. Prepare semi-annual broker evaluation reports and maintain comprehensive supporting documentation.
Organize and preserve broker communication records for both the Ohio and Emerging Brokerage programs.
Coordinate and verify calculations of external manager fees for Domestic Equity and REITs on quarterly invoices.
Assist in preparing budget materials for the Deputy Executive Director, Investments, and the Senior Chief of Staff related to various investment research and quotation service expenses within the hard dollar budgets.

Summary of Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College-level course work with preferred emphasis in business.
Five years administrative experience required in an office environment.
Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts required.
Ability to exercise independent judgment, coordinate multiple projects, work independently and in a team environment while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision required.
