As a Senior Workday HCM Engineer (Level 4), you will serve as a strategic partner, independently managing and optimizing complex Workday systems to align with our long-term business goals. You will leverage your advanced expertise in Workday modules to lead high-impact projects, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the integrity and security of our HR data. This role requires a blend of technical mastery, strategic foresight, and leadership, as you will not only execute but also influence the future direction of our HR technology.

  • Strategic Leadership & System Ownership: Lead the design and implementation of advanced configurations across multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Performance Management, Payroll, and Onboarding. Serve as a key consultant and system expert, providing strategic solutions to internal stakeholders and partnering with functional leads to identify improvement opportunities, prioritize projects, and implement necessary changes. You will own the Workday roadmap, aligning enhancements with our long-term HR strategy.

  • Integration and Data Management: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations using Workday tools such as Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), Core Connectors, and Report as a Service (RaaS). You'll be responsible for ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and third-party systems, and for troubleshooting any complex integration issues that arise.

  • Technical Consultation: Act as the primary technical expert for future Workday integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions for complex business challenges. You'll be expected to understand the full lifecycle of our tenant and setting the technical requirements for ongoing maintenance and support.

  • Process Optimization & Innovation: Proactively analyze Workday reports, processes, applications, integrations, and user interfaces to drive continuous improvement and optimize business processes to meet evolving business needs. You'll not only identify areas for improvement but will also manage and execute change management for various Workday domains, collaborating with other Workday engineers on larger projects.

  • Data Integrity & Security Governance: Take full ownership of data integrity across Workday and other related systems. You'll lead security audits for permissioning within Workday and serve as a Named Support Contact with Workday, escalating issues as needed to ensure system stability and compliance.

  • User Experience & Training: Drive user experience satisfaction by designing and implementing intuitive system solutions. Partner with our People Development team to design and deliver outstanding Workday training modules, creating enthusiastic Workday advocates across the organization.
