Position Summary/Objective |
The Robot Cell operator in an aluminum foundry is responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining the robotic cell used in the aluminum casting and manufacturing processes. This role ensures that the robotic cell operates smoothly and efficiently while meeting production schedules and maintaining quality standards. The operator will troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on the robot and associated equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality production output. |

2.Inspect castings for quality, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards. Perform routine checks and adjust robot programming as needed to maintain product quality. |
3. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with robotic equipment. Report major malfunctions to the maintenance team and work closely to resolve technical issues. |
4. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures within the robot cell area. Follow all company safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PE) and identify potential hazards. |
5. Make necessary adjustments to accommodate different production runs and material specifications. |
6. Maintain accurate documentation of robot cell performance, maintenance activities and any downtime. |
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
