Duties
You will provide technical expertise, programmatic insight and support for Fleet activities.,You will have the knowledge and experience of overall Fleet procedures and specific SSBN onboard procedures that will assist in the efficient execution of Fleet activities.,You will participate in and/or lead investigations into the resolution of Fleet problems.,You will assist other Branch support engineers in specific areas of scheduling, planning, and Fleet Documentation insertion/deployment.,You will assist in ensuring the documentation implemented in the Fleet is complete, comprehensive, and executable.,You will work with Launcher Operations Section to establish sound logistics and maintenance plans to ensure Operational Support for the life of the SSBN SWS Launcher Subsystem Programs.,You will maintain and improve programs by monitoring and analyzing performance and testing data and problem reports from production and Fleet deployment.,You will prepare and present oral and written presentations to all levels of Government and Industry management and effectively prove and justify deviations from established policies and defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing data and reports to make recommendations to improve operations and productivity for fleet support related to shipboard weapons systems. . Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
