Position Duties

Greets guests, provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer services. Performs all types of labor required for golf course maintenance, including construction projects. Reports issues or problems related to all assets of the golf course immediately. Organizes operations for the driving range.?Keeps updated on and provides information on upcoming tournaments and events.?Assists in coordinating and providing assistance in department tournaments and events. Assists guests with all their needs while on the golf course; ensuring that any and all inquiries and requests are met efficiently and professionally; Ensures complaints are dealt with in a pleasant manner and recorded for Manager. Maintains golf carts, cart paths and other assets as directed; prepares reports for Manager. Maintains a clean and safe working environment by keeping the shop, garage and any other areas within your area neat and orderly by general housekeeping duties. ?Records and documents any safety hazards or other important situations immediately to supervisor. ?Follows procedures for proper opening and closing of golf course. Maintains positive professional and effective working relationships by providing exceptional customer service. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity. May be required to work early mornings, evenings, holidays or weekends as needed. Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies and procedures; follows safety policies and practices, works in a safe manner, and reports unsafe activity and conditions. Perform cleanup of outdoor areas. Maintains and ensures necessary functions of janitorial equipment, lawn equipment, tractors, trailers, ball washers and other golf course equipment. Perform additional duties and projects as apparent and/or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of fundamentals of the game of golf; Rules, regulations, player responsibilities, sportsmanship, etiquette and traditions of the game of golf. Considerable knowledge of golf related equipment, apparel and accessories. English spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Workplace management and storage using good organization practices

Other Qualifications

Requires occasional considerable physical exertion, pushing and pulling of objects and materials, standing, lifting objects up to fifty pounds. ?Requires knowledge basic of lawn maintenance equipment, ball washers, tee boxes, golf clubs, golf carts, tractors, mowers, sprayers and irrigation equipment. Requires visual perception and ability to communicate orally. Job must be performed with or without accommodations.
