VytlOne is currently recruiting for a Certified Pharmacy Technician for our brand new location, Thibodaux Regional Pharmacy. Our pharmacies are retail in nature, but also offer interesting differences from a typical retail setting with our bedside medication delivery program (Meds to Beds). This opportunity is perfect for an experienced pharmacy technician who enjoys interacting with their patients and who is looking to broaden their pharmacy career.

Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently.
- Provide compassionate and attentive customer service.
- Answer telephones expediently and courteously.
- Operate POS and ring sales accurately.
- Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions.
- Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner.
- Think and act proactively.
- Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times.
- Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
- Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
- Record medical histories while maintaining confidentially and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
- Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
- Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
- Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.
- Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Must have a LA state registered pharmacy technician license.
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician highly preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED
- In good standing with the Louisiana state pharmacy board.
- Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience.
- A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
- Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
