Where we are now:
We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Between 2023 and 2024 our global revenue tripled; £60m to £180m (300% year-on-year growth). We're looking to do the same in 2025; move into new territories, and further accelerate our growth journey. The Opportunity
To provide the insight foundation that enables HeliosX to successfully expand internationally and, by doing so, bring accessible, affordable and high-quality healthcare to even more people around the world. This role will help our business identify the most attractive new markets and help shape launch strategies that are both globally scalable and locally relevant, ensuring we meet customer needs, stay culturally aligned, and deliver commercial results from day one. They will work cross-functionally but especially closely with the International Expansion, Brand and Growth teams.
This is a full time, permanent role. The successful candidate will have a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week in our Shoreditch WeWork.
What you'll do
Evaluate market opportunities for expansion decisions
- Run market sizing, attractiveness, and readiness studies using both primary and secondary research
- Estimate the total addressable market and opportunity sizing in priority countries
- Assess market fit for HeliosX core value propositions and identify where local adaptation is needed
Deliver insights for go-to-market and brand strategy
- Identify high-potential customer segments and their needs, attitudes, and behaviours
Recommend effective entry strategies, including messaging, positioning, channels, and partnerships
Provide insight into the competitive landscape and how customer expectations are shaped by culture and local context
Partner with the XFN teams
- Embed insights into launch plans and performance evaluation, collaborating with International Expansion, Brand and Growth teams to inform and optimise launches
- Support hypothesis development and market testing strategies
- Provide agile, ongoing research support as new countries are rolled out
What you'll bring to HeliosX
- 5–7 years of experience in market insight, consumer/market research, or strategy—ideally with a focus on new market entry or international growth
- Demonstrated track record in conducting both primary and secondary research, quant and qual research, consumer segmentation studies, and go-to-market strategy development
- Experienced in working with external partners and local agencies to test brand messaging, creative assets, and value propositions for cultural relevance and local effectiveness
- Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including survey design, segmentation, and desk research
- Strong ability to synthesise market, customer, and competitive data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Culturally curious and globally aware—able to spot both global and market-specific trends and opportunities
- Able to operate independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a scaling, fast-paced environment
- Effective cross-functional collaborator, especially with strategy, marketing, and expansion teams
- Commercially-minded and outcome-focused—comfortable influencing go-to-market decisions
