School Nurse needed at the Dr. Robert H. Brown School (Grades PreK-5) starting 1/5/25. This position is responsible for the management of health care, delivery of health care, delivery of health services and prevention of disease; advocating for the health rights of students, addressing the health concerns of students with their families, staff and health care providers.
Work Schedule: 7 hours per day / 189 days per year (follows the student school calendar plus 8 professional development / prep days)
Salary: $38.16 per hour

Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and/or a Bachelor's of Science Degree (BSN preferred) or related health field from an accredited college or university. (CT Ed Law Section 10-212-1 C)
- One (1) year of experience within the last five (5) years to include pediatric/adolescent, public health and mental health nursing.
- Licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of Connecticut.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
