This position supports individuals of all ages with disabilities and health conditions by helping them access the tools and equipment needed to lead more independent and comprehensive lives across home, school, work, and community settings.

This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing the four core services of Assistive Technology for Kansans (ATK): device demonstrations, device loans, funding assistance, and device acquisition support. The coordinator also leads public awareness and outreach initiatives to promote AT services to professionals and consumers statewide.

In addition, the coordinator administers the Kansas Equipment Exchange (KEE) program in the Northeast region by accepting, cleaning, and distributing donated durable medical equipment (DME), coordinating DME drives, and facilitating community engagement.
The position requires regular regional travel to provide direct services and conduct outreach, along with periodic travel outside the region for quarterly statewide staff trainings and professional development.
