As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a Inventory Specialist who is up for the challenge.

Summary/Objective:

Manage inventory, including order, storing, receiving, distributing products/supplies as well as shipping.  Assists with keeping logs for service work completed to stay compliant with state licenses.

 Essential Functions:

  • Control the flow of supplies
  • Tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance
  • Developing protocols for loss mitigation
  • Maintaining inventory records and stock movement
  • Making future inventory projections
  • Finding ways to save money and improve efficiency
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary
  • Parts sourcing 
  • Build vendor network for parts sourcing
  • Procure parts/products as needed
  • Assist with organizing hub/items
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing supplies/hardware/parts
  • Organize, ship and receive shipments
  • Support Service team with loading and unloading

 

Supervisor Responsibility:

 This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

 Work Environment:

 Hub, mobile unit, and/or provider site.   Exposure to varying elements (noise, exhaust, weather, etc.)  

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job 

  • Physical activity – talking, hearing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and fingering. 
  • Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 
  • Visual Acuity – The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach; performs mechanical or skills trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature. The work is required to have the visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

 Travel:

Travel in designated service area as needed.   May be required to travel same day as notice received. Driver sprinter van as requested. 

 Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, MS Suite
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel US wide
  • Ability to read operating manuals and instructions
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Problem-solving skills 
  • Self-driven, motivation to succeed
  • Forklift operating license 
  • Ability to learn company policies and adhere to them in the performance of all assigned duties and communicate any compliance deviations to management in a timely manner
