Location: Edinburgh, Multiple locations available,
Salary: £23,999 per annum
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full Time – 37 hours per week

About Oscars
Come and work in a key role with the wonderful growing team at Oscars, where our new management team encourage and support progression on our career pathway.
We offer warm and friendly childcare for children aged 5 to 14 years. Many of our sites are located within the local primary schools fostering close links with the surrounding community.
Our aim is to provide quality out of school childcare to children. We offer play and educational opportunities in a safe welcoming environment focusing on the social and educational welfare of each child. We are proud of our highly qualified and dedicated team who are passionate about nurturing children and promoting their well-being.
Hours / Shifts
For a Full Time Play Worker, the hours would be Breakfast Club and After School Club, with flexible administration time to create your full working week. The club shifts are:
Breakfast Club - Monday to Friday from 7.15am to 9am
After School Club - Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 6pm, and Friday from 11.30am to 6pm
We can also offer Part Time and Casual roles.
What you’ll be doing
In the role of Play Worker (Unqualified), you'll be:
Promoting good childcare practice in a professional, inclusive, and flexible manner.
Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children.
Caring for and supervising our children, making sure that they are safe and happy.
Thoroughly enjoying your role and making each day count for the children in our care.
What we need from you
In the role of Play Worker (Unqualified), we're ideally looking for someone who has:
A real passion to work with children and make a difference.
First Aid qualification or ability to achieve.
Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate or ability to achieve.
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or ability to achieve. <
