$32.82 hourly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  Government Center/ Viera.  Part-time/25 hours per week/ Work hours will be variable.  Performs experienced professional work directing and coordinating the activities of specially assigned programs and projects for the Solid Waste Management Department.  Work involves managing and overseeing the Solid Waste Management Department's software programs, including iMaint, SAGE, WasteWorks, GeoTab, GEM5000, Inficon, Carlson Command, Fluid Secure, and other solid waste programs.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field PLUS six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience in contracts management, procurement, or a closely related field.  Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.  A Master's degree is preferred.  Government procurement experience is preferred.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
